One of Canada’s most outspoken and hilarious women has packed her bags and is now in the UK. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta and now making her home in Toronto, via Vancouver, Dana began with Yuk Yuk's at a young age and quickly became a regular fixture in their western Comedy Clubs. She has continued to tour with them for the past 8 years. Currently Dana tours nationally and can be seen in comedy clubs and colleges all across Canada. Voted »Best Discoveries« by Now Magazine in 2006 and included in the top ten for »Best Comedy Shows of 2007« the following year, she is easily one Canada's hottest emerging young comedians.
Quoted as being »fierce and in young face« and »almost revolutionary«, Dana continues to draw her material from her diverse lifestyle, from her gay friends to her crazy Jamaican family. As the only black female one the Canadian comedy circuit, she brings a refreshing change to the comedy scene while her own home sensibilities endear her to a wide variety of audiences, she is a comic you definitely do not want to miss.
Perennial globetrotter Marcus Ryan is a gifted storyteller with a natural comic bent and has featured at so many festivals and clubs around the world it’s hard to know where home is these days. One thing's for sure, he’s right at home on stage. A laid back yet engaging stage presence, Marcus charms his audiences with tales from the road and a sharp wit. Not bad for a boy from Wonthaggi.
Australian born but UK based for several years, Marcus kicked off his career in Melbourne honing his skills on the local circuit, with a runner up in Raw Comedy 2003 a finalist in Green Faces 2003 and an invitation to the Edinburgh Fringe the same year, followed by a selection for Comedy Zone 2004. In 2005 he appeared at major comedy festivals in Melbourne, Hobart, Montreal and again in Edinburgh where he was invited to attend the Vancouver comedy festival in a Rising Stars showcase.
