There's always something new at the Lent festival and this year is no exception. There is a new stage – the Minoriti stage, and the program of the Večer stage is fresher than ever.

For sure the biggest acquirement of this year's edition is the technically perfect Minoriti stage, which is going to replace the Old Radio venue and host the comedies and JazzLent. Come and llaugh with old, familiar faces or enjoy new ideas and projects of new faces you'll never forget. "Comedies on Lent have a long tradition and the Minoriti stage is perfect for them," said stage producer Marjan Rajbenšu - Pifke. The advantage of a fixed venue are lower costs and besides that, the venue is an excellent place for after parties and jam sessions after the shows and concerts.

This year the venue with the most varied program is the Večer stage, which will be hosting the Piše se leto - the legacy of the legendary Smiljan Kreže. The colourful Slovenian-Yugoslavian program of renowned groups will be taking over the stage on Tuesday, June 24th - don't forget to buy your ticket! "The biggest novelty of this year's Večer stage is the closed venue, which will enable more club-like concerts and atmospheres," said Andrej Težak, producer of the Večer stage. The stage will be hosting Slovenian bands with their new projects and foreign bands playing different musical genres and pampering the audience with new sounds. Like, for example, Big Mandrake from Venezuela and the rock bands Banda Berimbau and Jamaram, playing a fusion of different music genres and nationalities. And let's not forget about the legendary American band - Skid Row.

There's also something new at the Art camp venue where the stage this year is located on the main promenade of the City park. The number of workshops for children and their location stays the same - in the shadowy shelter provided by the trees. In case of bad weather, the activities will be cancelled or rescheduled. Puppet shows for the youngest, last year taking place next to the pool, are now relocated to the city centre - to the Vetrinjski dvor .The Art Camp stage is staying in the park. The varied program is promising many happy faces - young and old. Come and enjoy its green scenery
