Lord Bishop Rocks combine funk, rock, blues, punk and a touch of reggae to an emotionally loaded mixture, deeply soaked in black Voodoo which bewitches everyone.

The master himself describes his music as Hendrixian Motör Funk. This needs to be understood as fat guitar riffs à la Jimi Hendrix mixed with the power of Motörhead and the heavy blues of Led Zeppelin. In addition you get a good shot of James Brown Funk. The lyrics are about explicit love messages and politics. For Lord Bishop the interpretation of common Rock sounds sexy, dirty, funky, alive – and simply honest.

Lord Bishop can look back on a more than 2.000 shows concert career in more than 20 countries on four continents, which brought him and his band the reputation to be one of the most extravagant Underground Rock Trios. During his long career he shared the stage with some of his own musical idols like Living Colour, Kings X, Johnny Winter, Nazareth, Eric Burdon and many more amazing musicians.
