Ballet Folklórico Latinoamericano "Santiago del Estero", Santiago del Estero

Since the beginning, the Ballet Folklórico "Santiago del Estero" folklore group has been an important cultural ambassador, spreading the popular dance expressions of Latin America throughout the world. They have received several awards from the Argentinian Ministry of culture. 

The young musicians and dancers are from the Santiago del Estero province, a Mediterranean area in the north-western part of Argentina. This region is a cradle of poets, singers and dancers and is devoted to preserving its ancient tradition. Despite the progress and modernization in music and dance, the group deeply respects and grooms their cultural heritage and the expressiveness of their ancestors.
