Bombino is a Tuareg sensation, the new voice of Sahara who has been stringing up successes due to his amazing concerts. Even the biggest music magazines like the Rolling Stone and The New York Times are writing about him. Bombino’s last album titled Nomad (2013), which he recorded in Nashville with famous producer Dan Aeurbach (The Black Keys), became a great international success. The significance of Bombino’s music, which is a composition of traditional Berber rhythms with rock’n’roll energy and peaceful songs, reflects the thousand-year-long history of the Tuareg struggle for survival and dignity that grew stronger than the threats from the outside.
