FED HORSES
Urša Mihevc (vocal), Jure Mihevc (guitar), Miha Erič (harmonica), Rok Škrlj (bass), Timi Eler (drums)
Fed Horses is a music project started as a collaboration between a singer Urša Mihevc and guitar player Jure Mihevc accompanied by other interesting artists. No, they are not related, as you may ask, but they do seem to have a lot of interests in common. As a band, they first appeared in public on HISTeRIA festival of 2013, where they collaborated in a project called The Rusks (together with Erić Brothers, Simon Urbas and a band called Spes). After a working summer in their studio they have put out their first single Hands (released in September 2013) , with Lea Mihevc and Jernej Juren helping on the lyrics. Then began the collaboration with photographer/blogger Tine Mažgon, who helped them record their first video - a visual representation of the song Hands, performed live from their Cold Cave Studios. The song is performed in a straightforward setting of a vocal, slide guitar, kick drum and harmonica (Miha Erić). In December 2013 the same team continued working, as Fed Horses contributed their second single called City, to accompany Tine Mažgon’s timelapse video material of his travels from Slovenia to Vancouver and Edmonton.
