Musician Matevž Goršič and writer Mihael Lajlar have created a musical product, dedicated to youth in all its charm. It is telling children, born into an instant world of consumerism, about interpersonal relations, family, first love, growing-up and values that sprout from it. The excellent lyrics and the interesting music by Goršič touch the singers and listeners in a different, but pleasant way and bring fresh and incredibly enjoyable musical wind.

Children Choir JUNIOR CS

Junior CS forms an educational body and a vocal ensemble altogether. The singers acquire musical knowledge through preparation of compositions and complete them with additional chapters from music theory (according to the syllabus of music schools). Junior CS offers an opportunity to each member to develop her musical talents according to her own pace. The choir performs in concerts in Slovenia and abroad, takes part in projects with the Concert Choir Carmina Slovenica and regularly records for the Radio Slovenia. It has continually received the highest prizes at competitions in Slovenia and abroad, among them first prize »Cum Laude« at the 54^th European festival in Neerpelt, Belguim.

BUMBLEBEESNOUTS

Bumblesnouts are gentle aliens who travel all the way from outer space in a funny old spaceship to show Earthlings how to take better care of their planet.

They land on earth in little round modules. They are horrified when they are attacked by bullies. Slowly, doors open and children see gentle alien visitors. They present as Bumblesnouts from outer space and criticize Earthlings for neglecting Planet Earth. Many people use sprays, over-zealous cleaners, kill animals, clear forest, pollute the environment with exhaust gases from cars– all behaving very badly indeed. When Bumblesnouts alert Earthlings of their bad behaviour it is time to return home. But these Earthlings get their comeuppance, and learn their lesson as it appears – they promise Bumblesnouts that they will take better care of their planet.

Performng in this project: Bumblesnouts – gentle alien visitors, bad-behaving children, Miss Fizzy, hunters, animals, gangsters and foresters.

CHILDREN CHOIR Pu

Children choir Pu has been active since 1993. The youngest singers of the Choral school CS choir practice once per week. The work incorporates acting, motion, rhythmical and speech games, playing simple instruments, introduction to vocal technique and introduction to performing in public. The children choir Pu offers different forms of education, everything from visits to musical instruments store to concerts. Pu is taking part in the joint programs of Carmina Slovenica, the Attaca Festival, Artfest, humanitarian events and scenic projects of the Choral school. It has also competed at the national competition in Zagorje.
