CULTURAL DIARY - Closing event

The Cultural diary is a project that encourages elementary school students to be creative. With the help of free visits of cultural organizations, cultural events and talks with artists, we have enabled children to get to know cultural workplaces, the making-of cultural events and the organization of cultural institutions. During creative workshops children could experience how it is to be an artist. The main aim of the Cultural diary is cultural education – raising critical and sensitive spectators, listeners and maybe future creators of cultural events. The program is aimed at children in the 2nd and 5th grade.

At the closing event, the children will be given a certificate of recognition and a cultural badge. As a reward Plesna izba Maribor has prepared a special program for the closing event, and we are also looking forward to be greeted by one of the most popular Slovenian authors of children’s books, Primož Suhodolčan.
